We’re proud to introduce our latest collaboration with Zaha Hadid Architects, Western Sydney Airport.
This model, predominantly finished in off-white tones, draws attention to its most striking feature – the ceiling. Formed from cherry timber, the ceiling expresses the airport’s distinctive, flowing geometry.
This was achieved through the precise laser-cutting and lamination of hundreds of cherry veneer strips, each piece was carefully integrated into a fine metal framework to mirror the fluid lines and sculptural elegance of the original design.
